Matt knows firsthand how the journey from serving in the uniform to navigating the claims system can feel impossible. After nearly nine years in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), an injury disrupted his path to becoming a Physical Training Instructor (PTI).

Transitioning into civilian life, Matt focused on injury rehabilitation and management—work that gave him a deep appreciation for the physical and mental toll of service-related conditions. When he co-founded KSC Claims with Luke Armstrong, it was to build the support system they wished they had: veteran-led, transparent, plain-spoken, and rooted in respect.

Today, Matt leads the appeals and permanent-impairment side of the practice, ensuring veterans get access to fair outcomes—not just because he knows the system, but because he knows the person behind the claim.

Outside the office you’ll often find Matt rock-climbing, training hard, or spending time with his cattle dog—always ready to help, always approachable.
