Who we are
Founded by veterans who have lived the system.
KSC Law was born from firsthand experience. Luke Armstrong and Matthew Dumars are both veterans who navigated the DVA claims process themselves, and saw how complex and stressful it can be. They built a firm that treats veterans with respect and empathy while delivering strong, practical outcomes.
With the guidance of Legal Practice Director Aylar Koh, KSC was incorporated as a law firm — giving us the authority to act across Australia in both the Federal and High Courts. Unlike free advocacy services, we bring full legal expertise to every claim.

How it works
Three steps, clearly explained.
01
Free initial consultation
We review your situation, explain what you may be entitled to, and answer your questions. No cost, and no obligation to proceed.
02
We manage your claim
Paperwork, medical evidence, and all correspondence with DVA, CSC or your super fund — handled by our team on your behalf, every step of the way.
03
You keep 91% or more
Our fee is fixed and agreed upfront. For DVA compensation we guarantee you keep at least 91% of your payment — no hourly billing, no surprises.
Got questions? Good.
The honest answers, upfront.
What does “no win, no fee” mean?
If your claim is unsuccessful, you don’t pay us a cent. We share the risk with you, and our costs are fixed and capped — agreed in writing before we start.
What is your 91% guarantee?
For DVA compensation matters we apply our 91/9 Rule — you keep at least 91% of your compensation. No uplift fees, no success loading. If our fees would ever exceed that, we discount them automatically.
My claim was already rejected. Can you help?
A rejection is not the end of the road. It’s a common part of the process. DVA decisions can be reviewed and appealed through VRB reviews, and we regularly act on matters that were previously knocked back.
Do I need to be in Brisbane?
No. We work with clients right across Australia, with locations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Hobart. We’re online by design — meetings, documents and updates are all handled securely online to fit around your life.
Who do you help?
We began by standing beside Australia’s veterans, and today we support all first responders and their families — including emergency services, police, ambulance and fire — as well as everyday Australians with super and insurance claims.
Which DVA acts do you handle?
All three. MRCA covers ADF service after 30 June 2004, DRCA covers conditions from service before 2004, and VEA covers wartime service and peacetime service up to 2004. We’ll work out which applies to your situation.
Not sure which claim type applies?
That’s what the free consultation is for. Many clients have more than one entitlement across DVA, CSC, TPD and ADF abuse. We’ll map out all your options before you decide anything.
