Veteran / First Responder Support & Wellbeing

Luke’s mission is simple: veterans and first responders deserve clear, honest support when navigating complex claims processes. After serving in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), a career-ending injury shifted his focus from uniform to advocacy. Frustrated by the obstacles he faced personally, Luke dedicated his transition to helping others make sense of the system and secure the outcomes they are entitled to.

Luke initially co-founded KSC Veterans Support as a non-legal advocacy company, which for six years supported thousands of veterans through the DVA, CSC, and the Defence Abuse Reparation Scheme (DRS). KSC became known for providing practical, hands-on guidance, helping veterans navigate complex claims with confidence.

Before founding KSC Law, Luke worked in exercise science with pre- and post-operative neurosurgery patients, including veterans and first responders, giving him a unique understanding of the real-life impact of service-related injury and recovery. That insight drives his hands-on approach today.

As Managing Senior Paralegal at KSC Law, Luke is often the first point of contact for clients starting their claims journey, bringing empathy, clarity, and real-world understanding to every interaction. He believes the best advocacy starts with speaking plainly, setting realistic expectations, and guiding clients step by step.

Luke is also commonly requested to speak on complex issues affecting veterans and first responders in national media outlets, including The ABC, NewsCorp, and The Canberra Times, sharing insight and advocating for systemic improvements.

Outside of work, Luke can be found at the go-kart track, watching footy or cricket, hitting the gym, or walking his two dogs, Cece and Yuki.
